Welcome to Kayaking for a Cause 2008

...We are Back...

We are back, after an extremely successful 2006 campaign, Kayaking For A Cause has returned Bigger and Better than the first campaign and more determined to help young people in need of Palliative Care.

This year there are 8 kayakers, we have new races and challenges.

Over the course of the 2008 campaign we hope we can give you an insight into paddling but more importantly provide you with insight into the Patricia Ritchie Centre and the people involved in this fantastic facility

What is Kayaking For A Cause?

Kayaking For A Cause, is a sub charity of The Mater Hospital in Sydney, NSW Australia. We are aiming to raise ?? For the Patricia Ritchie Foundation at The Mater.

In June 2003, my sister Natalie was diagnosed with a suspected brain tumour but later diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. For further information on Natalie, and why we are doing this, please click here or on the "Purpose" menu above.

During the 2008 Year, the Kayaking For A Cause Team, will be racing in the following races....
